Lazy Country Sunday

I was pretty tired from my big birthday bash so while Hayden had a nap I just wondered around our yard and took a few pictures. I also took some photos of Hayden riding his ATV in the afternoon. He's getting so fast! He must have done about 20 laps of Omi and Opa's back yard!

My Big 30th

Well I made it! The big 3-0. I used to think that was so old. Crazy how that changes. I had an absolutely great weekend. I was surrounded by the things and the people that I love. Even though my birthday is on the 21st, we actually started celebrating on Friday the 20th. I worked for half a day on Friday. At the shop Heather brought me a cute little cake in a jar and sang happy birthday to me with one of my clients. Then at home I had dinner with my boys and after I got my birthday present from Hayden and Agassiz and had cake. Desi spoiled me as usual. He bought me an amazing new Rocky Mountain Solo Road bike. My birthday present from the kids was an awesome card with my itinerary for the next day. So my 30th birthday itinerary was this. 8:00am Breakfast with Des and Hayden at Whitespot. 9:30 Horse back riding with my friend Linda and her friend Rose for 2 hours. 2:15 Appointment at the spa for a full 1 hour body massage and a steam. 5:00 Champagne toast at our house with my parents and sister and brother in law. 7:30 Dinner at Milestones with our friends and then continuing party at our house after. Then this morning my mom made all of us breakfast at their house. What a great weekend! Well so far 30 has started off on a great note I can't wait to see what the next 10 years bring.

Happy Birthday Curtis

Last night we celebrated by brother in-laws birthday. The big 35. I think that the kids had just as much fun with the gifts as he did!

New Shoes!

Omi and Opa got Hayden matching shoes to Dad's. He was so excited. When I took them out of the boxes his eyes nearly popped out of his head and he shouted Dadda's shoes!

Undone Bed

Hayden is a nut! We went in to check on him before we went to bed and he had pulled absolutely everything off of his bed and threw it on the floor! Why I still don't know.

Knee Surgery

Here's Des getting ready to go in for his ACL Reconstruction surgery on April 2,2007. He was pretty nervous. The poor nurse had to put in the IV twice! Poor guy.

Here is the man after surgery. He's trying to give me the thumbs up in this picture! He took a long time to come out of the anesthetic. I think he was using it as an excuse to catch up on 2 years worth of sleep!

Happy Easter

Here's our happy Easter Bunny. We had a great Easter Egg hunt all over the house. Hayden really caught on fast to the whole concept of looking for the eggs. He's so funny with the camera now. He likes being on the other side of the camera instead. I think that we may have a protege for Uncle Kevin!

Family Time

Our loving Golden Retriever, Agassiz. She was named after our favourite motorcross track. She's dressed up here for Halloween as her favourite motocrosser, Dad.

This is Hayden our wonderful 2 year old. He is full of energy.
