Summer Fun So Far... Well actually just July

Well our first family holiday of the season! Osoyoos. It was crazy hot, just the way we like it. Hayden had an absolute blast. We swam, ate ice cream, drove go-karts, rode bikes, play on the playground and went and watched the Canada Day Parade! Phew.. It was quite a weekend.

Oh ya, I forgot, we rented a wave runner! He loved
that too!

When we got home from our trip we thought that we would get Hayden training in yard maintanence. So he drove the lawn tractor all by himself!

Hayden had his two buddies, Luke and Taylor over to hang out one last time before they moved to the island. We finger painted, and played in the swimming pool that they brought as a gift to Hayden, which we have had tons of use out of! Then Paige and Carter came over too to get wet and hang out.

Dad was on holiday's this week so we planned a few day trips. We spent some time at the waterpark in Chilliwack and one day we went to the waterslides. That was the hottest day of the year so far 39.7! Crazy. We were able to stay cool though.

As you know the weather hasn't been great. So we've hung out at home quite a bit too. We are running electrical to our barn, so we had to dig a trench from our garage to the barn. Everyone helped including Agassiz! The biggest challange was going through the trees, the roots were about a foot in diameter!

Desi brought Hayden to the skatepark at Mcmillan for the first time. It's all he talks about now. He just wants to hang out there every day. He's a mini Uncle Kevin.

We had to get Des's road bike tuned up in White Rock so we decided to have lunch down at the beach. Then we went out to the water and played in the waves.

Curtis's dad had a customer appreciation party at his house and we were invited. It was a great night. We swam, ate amazing food, danced to the band, played volleyball and crocet. The kids had a great time. Hayden asked to go back to Paige's grandpa's house just the other day!

The APD had the annual Family Fun Day at Matsqui Park. It's always a great time. They have the bouncy castle, swimming, face painting, bbq, and relay races. Hayden won a ribbon, his first! After that we took Hayden back to the skate park. He's obsessed!
